WaterFilters.NET ACW-UC-WF White Counter-top Water Filter System connects to your existing cold water or mixer faucet with an easily attached diverter valve. Requires no permanent modifications to the kitchen plumbing and allows filtered or unfiltered water to be drawn from the existing faucet at the press of a button. A perfect choice for apartments, boats, RV's, cottages and travel. Features a Doulton Ultracarb three stage filter combining the highly efficient filtration properties of ceramic with the enhanced water treatment properties of activated carbon, and the heavy metal reduction capabilities of ion exchange media. The WaterFilters.NET ACW-UC-WF System efficiencies are based upon testing of components to NSF Standards 42 & 53 and other International water testing standards. Includes filter housing with 3/8? Inlet and Outlet, diverter valve, faucet, tubing, quick-connect fittings and 2" x 10" UltraCarb candle. Maximum output of the ACW-UC-WF is designed to be 0.5 GPM, under typical water pressure of 60 psig, to maintain proper filtration efficiencies. Greater flow rate can cause damage to the filter inside and cause improper water filtration of contaminants.
